Now, I have been trying to avoid posting so many videos on here. But I just felt the NEED to post this one. I think it has actually changed my life and deconstructed my whole understanding of music.
Youtube tells me that it was released in 1989, which means it is just as old as me, and it seems to have just as much pizz-azz.
Some of my favourite parts of the song/video.

Doctor?
We spotted this film crew and scene down on near the river, under London Bridge station. No, we have no confirmation that this has anything to do with Doctor Who - but it is immediately what we thought of.Extras, spooky lighting, extra theming added to the walls? We also spotted a man dressed in brown overalls - and we were pretty sure he wasn't just a normal construction worker.
Are we just being hopeful? Is it an advert for flatulence tablets or something?
(And to be honest - the photo doesn't give anything away. But trust me, we saw something going on down there).
Mouse in my House
A mouse has decided to shack up inside my flat.
Now, he (or she) has lived here for a while - making little piles of bitten rubbish and rustling around. But now he's become much braver, even venturing out for a nap on the armchair. I poked him with a wooden spoon, to see if he was still alive - and he was; but I think he might be a little bit dying.
Just seeing him makes me feel sad, so I left him some cheese to eat and make him feel better. As I have a cat that loves to hunt back home, I'm more than used to having mice around the house; and I wouldn't DREAM of laying mousetrap. So the mouse stays. And I christen him...

Swan
Now, Bjork is somebody that has always been just outside of my radar. I would listen to so much that was inspired by her - but never the lady herself. I finally took the plunge (in part influenced by M/M Paris' BEAUTIFUL album art) and purchased Vespertine.I can now saw with certainty that the album is incredible and worth the praise that has been piled upon it over the years. I know that Bjork cares about my opinion, so she can now continue her life.
I particularly love 'It's Not Up To You' - it is simply one of the most beautiful songs that I've heard in a long time. It gives me those shivers.
Zine!

I sent some of my work to a fantastic little zine publication a few months ago - and I've just been told that my work is included in the new issue!
The Zine is totally free and totally cute, all you have to do is download it, print it and fold it yourself. Voila!
I'd be very happy if you printed your own version and placed it in your life - because I'm quite happy about being included :)

Ladies with an Attitude
Now, I know that Madonna is a bit of a hit and miss with the masses. Alot of people despise her - but I for one think she is a fantastic 'pop star' and is well and truly the Queen of Pop. I've just found her latest tour on Youtube, so I'm posting this to share the joy.
She may not be the best singer in the world, but at least she actually performs something live - rather than just standing with a mic. I therefore, defend my love of Madonna. <3<3
C'est Paris!

While emptying my room (which is a feat in itself) I managed to uncover some of my illustrations from my recent trip to Paris! So I have decided to share them with you. They were originally part of a very limited souvenir pack (i.e. one).

Maleev

Now obviously I didn't paint these. I wish I had that skill. But that could come with time, if I spent ANY time painting at all. But I just wanted to share them with the world.
Beautifully painted illustrations by the comic book artist Alex Maleev - featuring the recently returned Spiderwoman. The poor woman has been trapped in some kind of Skrull hell for MONTHS, if not YEARS. But I think being presented in such a perfect way will make up for that.
BEAUTIFUL.

Threadless

I'm thinking about designing/sending something off to Threadless. It would be nice to get a little bit of money in my pocket, and have something printed! But what kind of thing can I do? Hmmmm...
I do like my snappy phrases and hand drawn typography...

Human Nature
This is what I've been doing with my night, while also singing Madonna very loudly.Productive AND ear drum damage.
It's a work in progress, and not final by any stretch of the imagination. I mean, just look at B and the E. Burgk. Not very nice at all.
You can also see my BRAND NEW desktop image, courtesy of Gregory Crewdson. Isn't it beautiful?
